The AgTech producer groups will conclude by 31 May 2025.

Fund details

The AgTech producer groups support producers in harnessing technology for industry-specific improvements.

Funding is available to groups across all primary production sectors. It enables activities that:

  • explore and share AgTech experiences and knowledge
  • upskill producers and teach the benefits of AgTech
  • help producers to implement and apply technology advancements in their business enterprises.

Amounts

Eligible applicants can apply for funding of up to $18,500 (GST exclusive).

Eligibility

To join an AgTech producer group, the applicant must:

  • be South Australian based
  • hold an active Australian Business Number (ABN) and be registered for GST
  • be a legal entity capable of entering into a funding agreement with PIRSA.

Individual producers can apply to join a producer group, and existing groups can apply for funding with, or without a facilitator.

The group project activities must be conducted in South Australia and meet specific requirements of PIRSA's AgTech Program.

How to apply

  1. Before preparing and submitting an application, read the AgTech producer group guidelines (PDF 684.9 KB) to understand what is required.
  2. Submit your application through the AgTech producer group expression of interest form.

Late submissions will not be accepted. Please note, once you have started an online form, you will not be able to save and return to it.

Application outcomes will be advised approximately 4 weeks after the closing date.
