Draft management plan for the SA blue crab fishery

A draft Management Plan for the South Australian Commercial Blue Crab Fishery has been released for comment.

The draft plan has been developed in consultation with the Blue Crab Fishery Management Plan Review Committee with membership comprising an independent Chair, and representatives from the South Australian Blue Crab Fishery, the recreational fishing sector, South Australian Research and Development Institute (SARDI), and the Department of Primary Industries and Regions (PIRSA).

Have your say

All licence holders and interested parties can have their say on the draft management plan.

Please note that all submissions will be made publicly available for inspection at the conclusion of the consultation. Submissions will be made available to view for 2 days during ordinary business hours from 5 March 2024 at the PIRSA office at 2 Hamra Avenue, West Beach.

A public hearing will also be held at 4 pm on 6 March 2024 at 2 Hamra Avenue, West Beach, at which interested persons may appear to be heard in relation to the draft management plan and the submissions.
