The on-farm benefits of AgTech will be on show to producers attending South East Field Days in Lucindale next week.
Supported by the Government of South Australia, the AgTech Centre will be part of the iconic South East Field Days for the first time in 2023. It's an opportunity to check out an extensive display of AgTech exhibits and grow your understanding of how AgTech can increase productivity, minimise on-farm costs, reduce on-farm risks and increase labour efficiency.
Inside the AgTech Centre, the Department of Primary Industries and Regions (PIRSA) will be showcasing the latest technology benefiting producers and hosting presentations from AgTech providers each day.
Experts from across PIRSA will also be at the Field Days to share information about the Department's diverse activities in the South East with the opportunity to:
- Talk to a Fisheries Officer and see a Can-Am, and find out about the voluntary Fishcare program
- Get the latest on animal health disease surveillance
- Find out about NLIS livestock identification and traceability
- Meet the South Australian Grains Biosecurity officer
- Learn about the Struan node of the South Australian Drought Resilience Adoption and Innovation Hub and about projects happening in the local region.
The South East Field Days are at Yakka Park in Lucindale on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 March 2023. The AgTech Centre and PIRSA AgTech stand will be located on Vandepeer Street. The general PIRSA general exhibit pavilion is on Fisher Street.
