Ali Paulett named 2023 AgriFutures Rural Women's Award Winner

Tuesday 9 May 2023

Ali Paulett of Paulett Wines in the Clare Valley has been named South Australia's AgriFutures Rural Women's Award Winner for 2023.

Ali's project, the Bush DeVine Indigenous Australian Native sensory bush food garden is located at Paulett Wines, her family's 40-year-old winery and restaurant. The Bush DeVine Garden was planted with the intention of not only creating a unique garden and sensory walking path, but also supplying their restaurant.

With a passion for education, Ali aims to bring the garden alive and reach a broader audience through collaboration with First Nations people, videography, and interactive collateral that can take the garden into the classroom, dining room, or event anywhere in the world.

As the 2023 SA AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award Winner, Ms Paulett will be awarded a $15,000 grant from Westpac to progress her initiative that benefits rural industries and communities.
