Industry scorecards

PIRSA's series of industry scorecards track the advances in South Australian primary industries. These provide value chain measures of annual performance.

The scorecards include our major industries, as well as additional sectors and associated processing, such as forestry, wool, skins, seeds, and animal feed.

Primary industries dashboard

The primary industries dashboard displays an accessible overview of PIRSA's latest scorecard data, which is available at 3 levels:

  • for all primary industries included in the scorecard
  • at the broad industry level, such as livestock
  • for a specific industry, such as beef.

The dashboard consists of the Primary Industries Scorecard and the food and wine supply chain.

The Primary Industries Scorecard includes data on non-food and wine sectors. Revenue measures do not account for retail and food service sales – it is limited to production and processing levels of the value chain.

The dashboard summarises key scorecard statistics, including the:

  • revenue generated by a given sector
  • farm gate production value of a sector
  • value of international exports for a given sector.
