Bagging off wheat from an International A8-1 Harvester, Pinkerton Plains

Initially, storage and handling of wheat and other grains was handled in the bags. Bagging off grain was labour intensive with much of the grain being bagged in the paddock. The introduction of bulk handling was a most important advance in grain production.
