Cereal aphid observations in South Australia
Cereal aphid populations and symptoms are being monitored at 3 South Australian trial sites in:
- Bool Lagoon
- Loxton
- Roseworthy
as part of a pilot project on the risk of the following cereal aphids:
- Russian wheat aphid
- oat aphid
- corn aphid.
Trial sites were sown every month from April to July 2017 with:
- barley
- wheat
- durum wheat.
Field observations
Field observation reports are updated every fortnight during the 2017 growing season. Reports include data from this trial and other damage trials funded by the South Australian Grain Industry Trust Fund (SAGIT).
