AgTech entrepreneurs are hitting the road in the South East on Thursday 28 April and Friday 29 April to work directly with primary producers in identifying how AgTech can solve issues on-farm.
The two-day South East AgTech field trip will enable producers to connect directly with developers and entrepreneurs to discuss how and what type of technologies can help their operations.
The field trip includes visits to farming businesses at Kiki, Keith, Naracoorte and Field, along with a visit to the Struan and Kybybolite Best Practice Demonstration Farm to provide the experts with an opportunity for an update on the South Australian AgTech demonstration farm network.
A cross section of farming operations will be looked at during the trip including broadacre cropping, pasture production, beef cattle, lucerne seed production, prime lamb, irrigation and free-range hens.
