The Eyre Peninsula region is home to a diverse suite of primary industries. Some of the major industries within the region are agriculture (grain and livestock), aquaculture (Southern Bluefin Tuna, Pacific Oysters, Finfish, Abalone and Mussels) and mining (Gypsum and Salt). The Eyre Peninsula Regional Development Board provides information on each of these regional industries and additional information about the region.
