Many developers find the development approval process somewhat inhibitive and confusing. This website aims to provide an understanding of the steps involved in the development process, as well as the information required by developers and project proponents in order to gain approval.
The site acts as a portal for the various government agencies and other organisations that implement the various aspects of the development approval process. The various pages of the website contain 'roadmaps' that illustrate the process, together with key links that take you to those agencies and organisations, where more detailed information relating to specific aspects of the process can be found.
This website contains regionally specific information for each of the State Government Regions. Under each of the regional headings there is information that will assist in site selection and development approval along with regionally specific contact details.
Out of all the State Government regions there a three regions where the majority of irrigated agricultural development occurs in South Australia:
Production within these regions includes a range of seasonal and perennial horticultural crops, pastures and intensive livestock production.
