SARDI Science Bursary for Aboriginal Students

The South Australian Research and Development Institute (SARDI) awards this science bursary to an Aboriginal or Torrens Strait Islander graduate every year.

We award $1,500 to the successful candidate.

To be eligible you must be:

  • an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Honours graduate
  • currently studying or planning to study post-graduate qualifications in agriculture, fisheries or forestry science
  • at a tertiary institution in Australia.

  • We will announce the successful candidate at the end of March each year.

  • We created this bursary to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who have an academic interest in the primary industries.
  • This bursary is aligned with the PIRSA Reconciliation Action Plan.
