Enterprise Zone Fund - Upper Spencer Gulf and Outback

The $4 million Enterprise Zone Fund ran from 2010 to 2014, providing  financial support to priority projects within the Upper Spencer Gulf and Outback to boost economic and community development.

The Fund focused on projects that would make a major impact in the Upper Spencer Gulf and Outback by changing competitive advantages in its favour.

The State Government’s regional development team worked with the local community to identify broad areas of opportunity to achieve these aims.

Eleven projects were awarded grants resulting in 116 new jobs created, and a total investment of nearly $14 million.
