State & National Committees

PIRSA is a member of key national and state groups that develop and implement plant health policy and standards.

At a state level:

  • The Horticulture Plant Health Consultative Committee (HPHCC) considers the legislative framework for plant health in South Australia, national developments and plant health strategies for risk management.
  • PIRSA works with the South Australian Fruit Fly Standing Committee, established to provide input on the management of the SA Fruit Fly Program.
