The Office for the Southern Suburbs is part of the Department of Primary Industries and Resources, South Australia. The key role of the office is to develop and progress state government programs to advance the economic, social and environmental development of the southern region.
It has a significant role in building on initiatives already undertaken by the two local government authorities, the City of Marion and the City of Onkaparinga.
