Cooper Basin Folio - Volume 1
This folio is the culmination of an extensive interpretation project involving seismic and geological mapping of the Cooper Basin and the overlying Eromanga Basin in South Australia. The folio was released in October 1998.
Volume 1 of the folio contains 39 maps including key seismic horizons presented as depth structure, formation isopach and structural element maps. Other maps included are infrastructure, licences, fields, wells and seismic line locations.

A detailed list of the map enclosures contained in the folio is provided below. Previews of the data and areal extent contained in the images in a low resolution JPEG format are available by clicking on the map title. Selected maps as indicated on the list are also available for download in a high resolution PDF format.
Please note:
All grids and contours originating from this project have been superseded by later mapping projects. Refer to the Cooper Basin C-P-Z Maps webpage.
Purchase Information
Digital copies of the A4 folio (Volume 1 and Volume 2) are available in a PDF format at a cost of $150. High quality images of the 69 map enclosures (Volumes 1 and Volume 2) have been embedded into this document and can be extracted for plotting purposes at original scale of 1:500,000.
Hard copies of both volumes (text plus 69 enclosures at the original 1:500000 scale) are available for $1000 or individual maps can be ordered for $50 each.
