Drill hole samples obtained from mineral and petroleum exploration in South Australia must be submitted to PIRSA's Drill Core Storage Facility using the Petroleum Core and Cuttings Submission Form including the guidelines (.PDF) 91KB.
Explorers can inspect the Drill Core Storage Facilities extensive collection.
Inspections can be organised by booking online through the South Australian Resources Information Geoserver (SARIG) - go to Geodata then Core Inspections. Data for drill hioles in South Australia including stratigraphy, lithology andcore sample informaiton can also be downloaded from SARIG.
Or you can submit a request by completing the drillhole inspection request form.
