Pedirka Basin 1965-1994 Workstation Dataset

A workstation-ready dataset of 627 SEGY data files for the Pedirka Basin area is now available. The age range of this data set is from 1965-1994.

Where digital segy data were not available for some lines, hard copy paper sections were scanned for “SEGY recognition” in order to compliment the data set.

Time of First sample (TFS) has been estimated and written into standard byte locations in the trace headers.  GDA 94 datum, UTM Zone 53 coordinates have also been written into standard byte locations.

Shotpoint and CDP numbers have also been written in standard locations to facilitate data loading.

There is only one version of each line, chosen on the basis that it was the longest, best and most recent version available - see the attached spreadsheet Pedirka Basin Seismic Line List (.XLS - 167 KB).

Purchase price for the entire data set is $500 plus GST.
