1975-2000 Cooper Basin Workstation Data Sets

Workstation seismic and well data are now available for the South Australian sector of the Cooper Basin.

Prior to 2000, one Joint Venture (JV) held title over the Cooper Basin and adjacent parts of the Eromanga Basin.

This JV, led by Santos Ltd, have now made available their Workstation loaded data for the use of other explorers in the basin.

The seismic data was originally supplied as multiple Geoframe project files but these have been converted to a SEG Y output format suitable for a range of software platforms.

  • 42 Gbytes of data
  • Multiple data classes
  • Bulk shifted and tied
  • Coordinates in trace headers in GDA94
  • Re-sampled to 4 msecs for SEG Y format
  • Record length from -100 to 40000 msecs
