The planned outage for the SARIG application has been extended. The application will now be unavailable from 18:00 hours Friday 27 April until 06:00 hours Sunday 29 April Australian Central Standard Time.
The SARIG application will be unavailable between the hours of 18:00 Friday 27 April until 16:30 hours on Saturday 28 April due to essential maintenance and testing of electrical equipment.

Following amendments to the Mining Act 1971 that came into force in July 2011, expired, partially surrendered, surrendered or cancelled exploration licence areas may be released for application. A new map layer in SARIG shows pending mineral release exploration areas (ERAs).
State Geophysical Images can now be downloaded in ERS format as well as TIFF.
To access right click the image map layer, select the download button. Click OK to accept DMITRE's Spatial Data Terms and Conditions, choose required format (TIFF or ERS) and click download.
Pre-set maps of the project area with access to tenement information. New maps for approved mines Peculiar Knob, Wilcherry Hill and Wilgerup; and for active gas storage.
Open the SARIG application, go to Pre-set maps in top left grey navigation bar, select from the list.

The Mineral Tenements map layer group headings have changed from Active and Non Active to Mineral Exploration and Mineral Production.
Non Active Tenement map layers are now named Historic Tenements and are located under the appropriate Mineral Tenement (Exploration or Production) group heading.
The Production Tenement layer is now displayed as new multiple map layers, separated by Tenement Type:
