DMITRE apologises for the initial rollout issues that occurred since the release of SARIG 2020 on Thursday 2 June 2011.

| Takes longer than a minute to load |
Try F5 to restart. Alternatively select a data layer from the list to start the map engine. |
| SARIG 2020 is not compatible with Internet Explorer (IE)7 |
SARIG has been redeveloped to support a range of browsers - this has proved problematic as we fix an issue in one and break it in another. As a result, SARIG supports versions IE8 and IE9 only.
DMITRE suggest upgrading to a more recent release or if possible use an alternative browser. Google Chrome and Firefox provide the optimal performance and consistency. DMITRE testing has indicated no issues with having multiple browsers in operation on networked computers.

| MapInfo downloads are only supported by MapInfo V9 or later |
MapInfo changed their application at V9 meaning that it was no longer backwards compatible. DMITRE suggests contacting the vendor to see if a patch is available for older versions.
DMITRE are very keen to ensure SARIG is compatible with the most recent releases of GIS applications and where possible support one version older.
MapInfo have recently released V10.5. |
Online Mineral Exploration Licence Applications

This is an entirely new wizard that asks for additional information to reduce the need for DMITRE to contact applicants for the required information to process their application.
Forthcoming amendments to the Mining Act have also required some changes to the online application process.
DMITRE is preparing some example applications using of the new wizard. These should be available on the Minerals website within the next few weeks.
