Access Constraints:
Unrestricted access, no licence, copyright applies. Please read our conditions of use. These data can be downloaded at no cost from our web site.
Lineage:
Precious Stones Fields are proclaimed in the South Australian Government Gazette. Boundaries are defined by latitude and longitude and were captured by keyboard entry of the coordinates. Boundaries are constructed into an ARC/INFO polygon coverage.
Positional Accuracy:
Most boundary locations are constructed from lines of latitude and longitude, hence are scale independent.
Attribute Accuracy:
Validation checks are performed periodically, resulting in an estimated 99% accuracy.
Logical Consistency:
The dataset contains no overshoots, undershoots or duplicate lines. All polygons representing reserved areas contain only one label.
Completeness:
Spatial data is 100% complete. Associated attribute data is 100% complete.
