Previous mineral exploration initiatives such as the South Australian the Targeted Exploration Initiative South Australia (TEISA) have all contributed to the understanding of the geology of South Australia. These initiatives have led the world in providing broad-scale pre-competitive data allowing explorers to "see" through the cover and allow explorers to better focus their exploration efforts.
The PACE initiative builds on this previous work by continuing the acquisition of broad-acre regional data over key prospective regions and areas and has already been seen exploration licence coverage increase by over 20% over targeted regions.
Moreover, a significant percentage of licence holders undertake detailed infill surveys and/or extend previous survey boundaries to augment the PACE data acquired.
