Water monitoring reports
The water quality monitoring program was established to determine:
- annual and seasonal loads of heavy metals entering the Dawesley Creek from the site by measuring stream flow and metal concentration upstream and downstream of the mine
- the extent of impact of the mine (i.e. the zone of impact) on Dawesley Creek and the Bremer River by undertaking biological (macro-invertebrate) monitoring on a quarterly basis
- the temporal and spatial vairations of pH and heavy metals concentrations within the zone of impact by undertaking a monthly sampling program (grab sampling).
