The deposit:

The Wilcherry Hill Project area is in the south-eastern part of the Gawler Craton, which is host to a number of major mineral deposits including Olympic Dam, Prominent Hill and the Middleback Range iron deposits.

The deposit consists of high quality crystalline magnetite with low contaminants.

DMITRE granted the project approval to proceed December 2011.
