This report is an abridged version of A Geographic Information System for access to South Australia’s Infrastructure Information. Some material relating specifically to RESIC and for consideration by PIRSA and government has been removed from the original report.
The abridged report is provided here to outline the processes undertaken in the data collection process, and to outline some of the factors and limitations of the information presented on the Infrastructure Channel.
The Resources & Energy Sector Infrastructure Council (RESIC) would like to acknowledge the following for their participation in the development of the Infrastructure Channel and their ongoing commitment to provide ongoing data.
- PIRSA’s Spatial Information Services (and SARIG now located in the Department of Manufacturing, Innovation, Trade, Resources and Energy, DMITRE) for their advice, guidance and expertise in delivering the project
- The RESIC Executive, who developed the relationships across industry, government and the private sector in engaging stakeholders and their perseverance in delivering the audit, and the resultant channel
