Mines, quarries and mineral deposits
There are a number of abandoned/ historical mines, mineral prospects, developing projects and operating mines and quarries throughout South Australia.

The downloadable South Australia's Resources Map, current 8 February 2008 (PDF: 1.3Mb) provides the names of each prospect and its related resource type as well as highlighting petroleum fields and geothermal regions. Higher resolution copies are available from the Customer Services Centre. This map is also available in an online interactive form through the South Australian Resources Information Geoserver (SARIG).
