The Resources and Energy Group Vacation Program will be offering vacation employment from November 2012 to February 2013. Employment may be offered to undergraduate students currently studying in the following key disciplines:
- IT/Information management
- Geophysics
- Geology
- Geochemistry
- Mechanical engineering
- Mining engineering
- Chemical engineering
- Petroleum engineering
- GIS
- Environmental science
- Environmental management
- Other science fields
Advantages of the vacation program
Students taking part in the program will be mentored with the opportunity to improve both their technical and their personal skills.
Each student will be given a project to complete with a presentation of the project by the student at the end. The program will give students a taste of the type of work they can expect upon graduation in their chosen field of expertise.
