Work experienceDMITRE's Mineral Resources Division considers applications from secondary school students wanting to undertake work experience in the geosciences. Successful applicants are provided with a variety of hands-on experiences including field, laboratory and office components of geoscientific work. Applicants should contact the Mineral Resources Division Education Services Officer in writing at least one term before the expected school release time, stating reasons why they have chosen this vocational area.
