The Animal Health group of Biosecurity SA provide support for the sheep industry regarding:

Sheep disease prevention and management includes information about Ovine Johne’s disease (OJD), sheep lice, footrot, and Ovine Brucellosis.

A National Sheep Health Statement is required for all sheep movements within and into South Australia.

NLIS Sheep and Goats - Australia's system for identifying and tracking sheep and goats.

Livestock property registration - all properties in South Australia that run one or more horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, goats, deer, alpacas, buffaloes, donkeys, camels, mules and llamas must have a Property Identification Code (PIC).
