Statement of Environmental Objectives (SEO)

The outcome of either of the assessment processes will be the preparation and the approval by the Minister of PIRSA of a statement of environmental objectives (SEO) which will document the environmental objectives to be achieved by the activity and the criteria upon which the achievement of those objectives will be assessed.

An SEO may relate to either a specific activity carried out at a specific location; or a particular activity type (eg drilling, seismic activities, the construction and operation of production facilities and pipelines) carried out within a specific region or land system.
