Learning Outcomes
- Students will understand that trees have different parts.
- Students will be able to name and label various parts of a tree.
- Students will understand the function of some of the parts of a tree.
Lesson Layout
- Students observe trees in the school environment.
- Discuss as a class the different parts of a tree that the students are already aware of.
- Students work in groups to find out more about the different parts of a tree and fill in the worksheet.
