Foliar Copper and Zinc Applications to Improve Growth and Form of Eucalyptus globulus Plantations in the Wattle Range area

AIMS:
To investigate the improvement of nutrient status, growth and form of Eucalyptus globulus by applying copper (Cu) and zinc (Zn) to one-year-old trees in the Wattle Range area.

CONCLUSIONS:
• There appeared to be no improvement in the nutrient status, form or growth of Eucalyptus globulus in the Wattle Range area, with the application of copper or zinc.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
• Routine copper or zinc fertiliser application is not recommended for Eucalyptus globulus plantations in the Wattle Range.
