Warren Randall is Owner and Managing Director of iconic Seppeltsfield Wines in the Barossa Valley. He is also a co-owner of Tinlins Wines at McLaren Vale and Fleurieu Vintners in the Adelaide Hills and has expanding interests in China.
Already a major tourist drawcard, the165-year-old Seppeltsfield was relaunched in 2015 after an 18-month redevelopment that put an even greater focus on cuisine (at the new Fino restaurant), art and craft (at the Jam Factory on site), a diverse events program and heritage experiences.
More than 2000 people visit the winery each week and the respected Drinks International magazine gave Seppeltsfield its 2016 award for Best Visitor Centre. Later that year, it won the international award for Best Wine Tourism Services as part of Adelaide / South Australia's membership of the Great Wine Capitals Global Network.
Warren said his work allowed him to meet people throughout the wine industry supply chain and other primary industries, as well as tourism and hospitality.
"It is my intention to fly the South Australian flag within these networks," he said.
"Whilst driving the Premium Food and Wine from our Clean Environment message is incredibly important overseas, I am of the strong belief that it is equally so on our home soil and even within our own individual sectors."
