Draft Management Plan for the South Australian Commercial Gulf St Vincent Prawn Fishery
The public consultation period for the draft Management Plan for the South Australian Commercial Gulf St Vincent Prawn Fishery has closed.

There are 10 licence holders in the Gulf St Vincent Prawn Fishery, which operates in the waters of Gulf St Vincent in November, December and March to July annually.
The following documents were available as part of the public consultation process:
- The draft Management Plan for the South Australian Commercial Gulf St Vincent Prawn Fishery () outlines monitoring, compliance and regulatory arrangements over the next five years and includes an innovative harvest strategy, all designed to guide a best practice approach;
- A summary report of the management plan (); and
- The Ecologically Sustainable Development Risk Assessment of South Australia’s Gulf St Vincent Prawn Fishery ().
The draft plan has been developed in consultation with the fishing industry through an independently-chaired steering committee including representatives from PIRSA Fisheries and Aquaculture, SARDI Aquatic Sciences, the Saint Vincent Gulf Prawn Boat Owner’s Association and an independent scientist.
