Marron an introduced species. Currently the only place they are found in South Australia is on Kangaroo Island.
Fishers can only use
hoop nets and
yabbie pots to catch marron.
Marron must not be returned to the water alive, and must not be translocated (moved from one waterway to another) without a permit from PIRSA Fisheries
