A network of regional community groups known as Recreational Fishing Committees (RFCs):

  • gather information from the wider community on issues that affect recreational fishing in their region
  • act as outlets for distributing educational materials to recreational fishers
  • some are involved in community projects and initiatives to benefit recreational fishers and the general community in their local area
  • advise the South Australian Recreational Fishing Advisory Council (SARFAC – the peak independent body representing South Australian recreational fishers)
