Most GPS units & Marine Chart Plotters have proprietry software that is designed to upload and download information to and from your device. The majority of these software products can handle GPX format. Most proprietry software can be downloaded from the manufacturers website or can be purchased from where you bought your device. If your software product does not handle GPX it may be useful to try using the KML file to convert it to an appropriate format for your device.
