Fish Processors

Any person who, for the purpose of trade or business, processes or purchases or obtains fish must register as a fish processor.

An Application for Fish Processor Registration (.PDF) is available for download or phone PIRSA Fisheries Licensing Division on 08 8347 6107 and ask for a copy to be sent to you.

Fish processing includes scaling, gilling, gutting, filleting, freezing, chilling, packing or any other activity involved in preparing fish for sale.

Information including the registration holder, registration number, registered premises (motor vehicle, boat or other) and the species for which fish processing is permitted is included on the Public Register.
