Fish Disposal
PIRSA Fisheries recommends that prohibited (noxious) fish caught in the wild may be euthanased by a sharp blow to the head. Prohibited (noxious) aquarium fish may be placed in a slurry of cold water and ice until anesthetized then into a plastic bag and frozen. All noxious species should be placed in a biodegradable plastic bag and disposed of in the bin.
