PHC Plant health Certificate or Plant Health Assurance Certificate (PHAC) issued by a departmental inspector or accredited business in the state of origin. The original certificate must accompany plants during transport. A transport manifest, detailing all plant consignments, must be sent to PIRSA (fax 08 8124 1467) or email to Pirsa.PlantHealthManifest@sa.gov.au) prior to plants arriving in South Australia.
Δ Grapevines from Phylloxera Infested Zones (PIZ) and Phylloxera Risk Zones (PRZ) of NSW and Victoria are prohibited.
X Citrus plants and grapevines from Queensland are prohibited, as are tomato plants from some areas of Qld.
Entry into South Australia is generally unrestricted, but see # note below.
# Plants from Victoria in potting mix or bare-rooted from with a 20 km radius of a potato cyst nematode (PCN) infestation must have been grown in an accredited nursery and be accompanied by a PHC or PHAC.
Plants of the Myrtaceae family and hosts of Myrtle Rust must meet condition 26 (certified from property inspected and found free of Myrtle Rust and the plants having been treated) and be accompanied by a PHC or PHAC.
Seedling Plugs are exempt from RIFA - Condition 2
& Certification required if within 25km of a Green Snail detection
