)Weed distribution maps
Current distribution maps have been created for 78 weed species or genera. These maps show the abundance of each weed within 'hundreds' of coastal and agricultural South Australia.
The following scale of infestation (within susceptible land use) was applied:-
- 0 (no information/not known)
- 1-10% (new/small)
- 11-50% (spreading/scattered)
- 51-100% (widespread)
These maps also illustrate specimen location data recorded by DWLBC and DEH during the period 1985 to 2005.
