Biosecurity SA is keen to receive reports of sightings and catches of the Oriental Weatherloach in waters in our state. All information received will help with our planning towards removing this threat from our waterways.

Remember: The Oriental Weatherloach is a noxious listed species under the Fisheries Management Act 2007. It is illegal for people to have this species, so if you catch or find one DON’T RETURN IT TO THE WATER OR LEAVE IT ON THE BANK. Bag it, freeze it, and bin it!
