Emergency management arrangements for primary producers

Primary Industries and Regions South Australia (PIRSA) has a diverse range of responsibilities including agriculture, horticulture, aquaculture, fisheries, and forestry policy. Consequently, PIRSA must be prepared to respond to any emergency that impacts on these areas.

Under current emergency management arrangements, PIRSA has both state and national obligations for responding to animal and plant disease emergencies that have been agreed with stakeholders.
