Aquatic pests can have devastating effects on natural systems and primary industries. Marine pests can smother natural habitat, prey directly on native species or out compete native species for food and space.
PIRSA Biosecurity is involved in a number of national committees which aims to improve collaboration and the coordination of the management of aquatic pests across Australia.
