Animal Requirement Document
All Livestock Required to apply for a new registration, renew an existing registration, amend or cancel a registration.
All properties that run livestock (cattle, sheep, pigs, deer, horses, alpacas, goats, and buffalo) should be registered with PIRSA.
Registration Application
Cattle/Buffalo Required for the entry of cattle and buffalo into South Australia Form 1 Health Certificate
Required for cattle entering the Control Zone of South Australia from a residual Zone. BJD Declaration
Required to sell beef cattle as ‘Beef Only’ National Animal Health Statement for Johnes Disease Status for Beef Cattle (external site)
Sheep Required for all sheep movements within and into South Australia.

National Sheep Health Statement

Instructions for completing the National Sheep Health Statement

The minimum ABC score for entry into SA is 4.
Conditions apply for the introduction of lower score sheep and lambs into South Australia
Introduction of lower score sheep from interstate
Required in absence of a National Vendor Declaration, when moving sheep between properties not covered by the same PIC. Alternative Sheep and Goat Movement Waybill
Bees All bee hives must be registered. Apiary Registration Form
Required for the interstate movement of all bee and bee products, including entry into South Australia Form 3 Health Certificate
Pigs Required for the entry of pigs into South Australia. Form 1 Health Certificate
Deer Required for the entry of deer into South Australia Form 1 Health Certificate
Camelids including Alpacas (South American only) Required for the entry of all camelids into South Australia SA Movement and Health Declaration
Goats Required for goats entering South Australia Form 2 Health Certificate
Required on a voluntary basis in South Australia Goat Health Statement
