South Australian livestock artificial breeding centres are required to be accredited under the Livestock Act 1997.
Accreditation includes an annual audit undertaken by Animal Health.
Animal Health provides this service to the State’s livestock industries to facilitate and protect market access and consumer confidence by checking and ensuring South Australia’s livestock artificial breeding centres are of a standard that ensures the health, welfare, quality and safety of livestock held at these centres, as well as the integrity of products produced there.
