Interstate Certification Assurance (ICA) and Compliance Arrangement (CA) operational procedures and application forms

This page has operational procedures and application forms for exporting plants and plant products from South Australia.

On 29 July 2021, changes were made to the arrangements for growers and distributors who move consignments of fruit fly host produce to the Riverland directly or via Adelaide.

ICA export operational procedures and application forms

ICA-01 Dipping

ICA-02 Flood spraying

ICA-04 Fumigation

ICA-07 Cold treatment disinfestation

Allows produce stored at the prescribed (and recorded) low temperature for the required period to be sent to interstate markets.

ICA-13 Unbroken skin

ICA-15 Mature green condition of passionfruit, Tahitian limes, black sapotes and tomatoes

ICA-17 Splitting consignments

Allows produce already consigned, to be partially or totally re-consigned under certain circumstances.

ICA-20 Pre-harvest treatment and inspection of table grapes

ICA-21 Pre-harvest treatment

ICA-22 Grape must transfer

ICA-23 Area or property freedom

Allows the export of produce from an area or property declared free of a specific pest e.g. fruit fly.

ICA-26 Preharvest treatment and post-harvest inspection of tomatoes, capsicum, chillies and eggplants

ICA-29 Nursery stock and soil-less media

Not approved for acceptance in South Australia

ICA-32 Movement of stone fruit

Western Australia only, not approved for acceptance into South Australia.

ICA-33 Movement of wine grapes

ICA-37 Hot water treatment

ICA-54 Used vehicle inspection

Western Australia only, not approved for acceptance into South Australia.

CA-02 Steam sterilisation

CA-05 Movement of stone fruit

Allows the export of Stonefruit from South Australia to Western Australia provided criteria are met.

CA-10 Nursery stock and plant material to the Northern Territory

Allows the export of plant material from a Nursery or property to the Northern Territory provided criteria are met.

CA-11 Movement of wheat seed

CA-29 Distribution Centres supplying PFA suitable retail stores

CA-30 Pre-harvest bait spraying and monitoring and post-harvest packing, grading and inspection of citrus

CA-32 In-field treatment, monitoring and inspection of stone fruit systems approach

CA-33 Pre-harvest monitoring, bait spraying and post-harvest inspection suitable for organic production
