The Aquaculture Public Register is the one stop shop for current aquaculture licence and lease information. It contains licence/lease templates, holder and species details for all aquaculture licences/leases, site coordinates for all licences/leases, aquaculture spatial data for GIS users, a link to the Atlas of South Australia website, and a document detailing the escapes of yellowtail kingfish in South Australia.

A number of facilities across Australia offer training in aquaculture. The training varies considerably from small information sessions through to intense tertiary education to the higher degree level. Due to the varying complexity of these courses, entry requirements to the courses also vary greatly.
