Primary Industries and Regions SA (PIRSA) will once again be offering a one-stop-shop for its services and programs at this year's Riverland Field Days.
PIRSA will be at site 311/313, promoting a number of initiatives that support the Premium Food and Wine Produced in our Clean Environment and Exported to the World economic priority and its objectives, recognising the importance of the food and wine sector to the Riverland and the state.
Staff will be on hand to discuss topics from biosecurity measures to combat pests and animal and plant diseases to recreational fishing and Farm Business Concessional Loans.
PIRSA will be joined at the site by Grain Producers SA, SafeWork SA, Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure Marine Operations, GrowSmart Training, Rural Business Support, and Regional Development Australia Murraylands and Riverland with the Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources located nearby.
Visitors to the PIRSA tent will also have the opportunity to enter a free prize draw to win a basket of premium food and wine from the Riverland region and across South Australia, valued at $300.
The Riverland Field Days are held on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 September 2017.
