There is a bibliography section listing published material. Agronomy Branch Reports from the Department of Agriculture (1968-80) give an insight into the many issues of that era. Detailed contents lists and summaries for Department’s Technical Reports and Experimental Records give and indication of some of the outcomes and achievements of the South Australian research heritage achieved by the Department between 1963 and 1986. Transcripts of oral histories from interviews held with many now retired employees of the former Department of Agriculture not only add the human touch to the State’s colourful past, but also give a glimpse of the many humorous and noteworthy events that occurred during each person’s time with the Department.
